So I decided to reset my computer by doing a fresh install of Windows 10. I downloaded the Media Creation Tool - www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10 and used it to create a bootable USB flash drive but I ran into a error.
It read: There was a problem running this tool. We're not sure what happened, but we're unable to run this tool on your PC. If you continue experienceing problems, reference the error code when contacting customer support. Error code 0x80042405 - 0xA001B.
I searched online and the solution turned out to be simple. Format the drive first. I have a 16 GB drive and left all the settings at it's default. Then checked Quick Format. Then Start. And it worked.
